Outpost eCommerce Website
I designed a website for a hypothetical clothing brand I created called Outpost. There are thousands of clothing stores to shop from online, so I made sure my website offered users an exciting experience without taking away from their ultimate goal of buying a product. The prototype at the bottom shows the site in action.
Landing Page
I researched popular clothing websites to see what trends were common. I quickly found that most brands used a white-themed hero section, so I chose a dark grey to differentiate Outpost from the existing clothing giants out there.
Product Pages
I employed a clean and simple design for these pages, with minimum distractions, so the focus would stay solely on the products. I also made sure the product shots chosen were consistent in style throughout.
Final Prototype
Successful e-commerce websites stand out by providing customers with engaging hero sections, high-quality photography, and most importantly, design that is user-friendly. All of these elements can be found in the prototype below.
